Yes, as long as the student does not have symptoms and is testing negative they may come to school.
It is recommended and preferred that your student wear a mask to school and that they are COVID tested frequently following exposure to the positive person.
No, if a student tests positive on day 6 of COVID isolation they may not return to school until day 11 following the onset of symptoms or positive test. There is no need to take a COVID test after day 10 of infection.
Of note, many students will still be shedding the virus after 10 days. Because of this we recommend that your student wear a well fitting mask until around day 14 of infection.
Yes, a negative test result is not required for a student to return to school.
It is VERY likely however that students will still be shedding the virus at day 6 therefore it is HIGHLY recommended that if they return to school they wear a well fitting mask until at least 10 days after the onset of symptoms or positive test.
